I've never seen a film on Christmas, but I WILLLLL post a blog about the movie after I see this on Christmas day!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting for it for a long time and read the book too back in March. This is super exciting!
We Are The Pop Tarts is a pop culture blog updated daily by folks who have a fascination with all facets of it. We write about pop music (and we truly use this word in the broadest sense of the word: The Specials, Kraftwerk, Guns and Roses, Lady Gaga, The Vivian Girls - all pop music whether in composition or in appeal - we're pretty sure we can hear pop melodies in some of Stockhausen's stuff too...), art, films, toys (lot and lots of toys!), comic books and anything else hitting the public consciousness and making an effect in some small or large way...
Our mission is to to comfort you and let you know that being a pop culture obsessive is okay. For decades, the use of the words 'nerd' and 'geek' have been to deem the wearers of the labels as pariahs - NO LONGER! We're geeks, we're nerds, we're pop culture junkies - and that's alright! Consider us a supplement to those endless hours you spend on RetroJunk.com looking up old Eighties cartoons and all of those times you're scouring the junk shops for old Ninja Turtles action figures...
...on that note, does anyone have a Krang in good condition that they'd like to trade or sell? Get in touch!
Disclaimer: this blog has no relation or ties to Pop Tarts toaster pastries or their parent company General Mills. Though we would like to take this moment to say that the strawberry ones without frosting are fabulous!
