What's This All About Anyway!?
We Are The Pop Tarts is a pop culture blog updated daily by folks who have a fascination with all facets of it. We write about pop music (and we truly use this word in the broadest sense of the word: The Specials, Kraftwerk, Guns and Roses, Lady Gaga, The Vivian Girls - all pop music whether in composition or in appeal - we're pretty sure we can hear pop melodies in some of Stockhausen's stuff too...), art, films, toys (lot and lots of toys!), comic books and anything else hitting the public consciousness and making an effect in some small or large way...

For decades, the use of the words 'nerd' and 'geek' have been to deem the wearers of the labels as pariahs - NO LONGER! We're geeks, we're nerds, we're pop culture junkies - and that's alright! Consider us a supplement to those endless hours you spend on RetroJunk.com looking up old Eighties cartoons and all of those times you're scouring the junk shops for old Ninja Turtles action figures...
